Babe Station is an evolving art and research project, exploring the relationship between making art and motherhood. Initiated by writer Millie Walton, it aims to promote and support the work of any person who identifies as a mother or has experienced child loss through collaborative and interdisciplinary projects.
Babe Station’s work currently include a series of free, monthly writing workshops for new mothers at Phlox Books in Leyton, London and Sorry about the mess, an exhibition of visual artists and writers, supported by Bow Arts. The curatorial team for Sorry About the Mess includes Millie Walton, Niamh Gordon and Nefeli Sidiropoulou.
